Our Story

Hava Pita began long before it had a name.

We are two women of Arab descent who inherited more than a recipe from our paternal grandmother — we inherited a ritual. In her kitchen, pita was never just bread. It was the center of the table. The invitation to gather. The beginning of every shared moment. Her recipe was passed down by memory and touch, from woman to woman.

Years later, one of us built a career in the food industry. The other in digital marketing. When we reunited around the same dough, Hava Pita was born where heritage meets intention. “Hava” connects to the meaning of life.
